Some days I still cannot believe that this is real life. š¤°š½ There has been so many ups and downs and I wanted to document every moment so far! We are beyond excited and still trying to process that we're having a BABY! āļø
September 3, 2023: The day we found out we were going to have a baby! āļø
I had no indication that I was pregnant in the slightest. I bought a test 4 days before my missed period because we were heading to happy hour on that weekend. It was negative, so I figured it was all in my head. 3 days later, I figured I might as well take the extra test I had in the box just for fun. I JOKINGLY took the test and made a video (just in case). I looked down and saw that faint line and could not believe it. I ran out and told Jordan (while we was studying for his exam š sorry!). I was honestly going to wait till he was finished with exams, but I lasted a whole 3 minutes before I spilled the beans.
Emotions: overwhelmed but excited!
September 28, 2023: First Doctor's Visit
We were so nervous because at this point (6 weeks pregnant), you really can't feel anything and it's just all up in the air what's going on! We got to see the little peanut on the screen and it was the BEST birthday present I've ever received. I couldn't believe the little one was actually real and growing inside me! This was such a surreal moment and one I will cherish forever.
October 14, 2023 (8 Weeks Pregnant)
We took baby to their first concert, The Jonas Brothers. Despite Jordan's loathing, he got me these tickets for my birthday and it was the sweetest time! I was still feeling good with not too many symptoms so I was READY to have a good night! I was so tired, but I was determined to not let that stop me! I have dedicated a specific song to baby that I play for them every single day and it so happens to be Little Bird by the Jonas Brothers. I cried through the whole song! šļø

October 28, 2023: (12 Weeks Pregnant) The day we found out what you are! šø
The best day of our lives. We got a few of our friends to come down to the beach with us and capture this sweet moment. We were both SO sure that you were a boy. I felt like my symptoms were leaning more towards boy! My nausea wasn't too extreme, my skin has been clear, etc. We were both convinced. I told Jordan that I would be SHOCKED if it was a girl. The second we cut into the cake, Jordan saw immediately and I swear my eyes were playing tricks on me. I could physically not see the color until we pulled the cake up. IN SHOCK! We're having a little girl! š We checked the test results like 15 times to make sure it said girl! We are so in love with baby girl already!

October 30, 2023: (12 Weeks Pregnant...continued)
The day we got to see you again knowing you're our girl! Baby girl is growing and on track with all of her llittle parts growing normally! I was in shock at how big she is now! Her little head made me tear up! Her heartbeat is going strong! While the ultrasound tech was using the doppler on my belly, baby girl would not stop flippi
ng and moving around. She's going to be a wild child, already! She's an active girl! We are SO in love! š„¹

November 17, 2023: (14 Weeks Pregnant) Baby bump is growing!
This was one of the sweetest days of my life. I told my kindergartener students that Mrs. Davis is having a baby! Their reactions were so sweet and were very excited. It's all they could talk about all day long! They got to make their gender predictions (that's going to come later for them!) But, it was just the sweetest moment!

I didn't realize how much being pregnant would change me and make me feel like this was I was created for. I get so emotional thinking about bringing this little girl into the world and getting to raise her and make a family! This has been a dream of mine since I was little. I'm excited to be a new mom and excited for this journey!
